In Between Memory and Forgetting

So how does art shape our collective memory of the past? And how might it inform our experience of major events in our own time?
The exhibition focuses on artists who challenge the idea of a representation of reality created through the development of new means of communication primarily social networks. Each artist presents a new work for the ArtID Event “In Between Memory and Forgetting”exploring the transitional elements of color, form and content in art. The group exhibition examines how the language of abstraction and figurative form can turn narratives of memory and identity into dominant and meaningful representations of reality.

Why this art event? It is a fact that systematic archives or historical documents are preserved according to the needs of the authorities that keep them.

Maybe I will not answer the doubts of most, I will not satisfy everyone, I will not like everyone, I will not be understood by everyone, but one thing is for sure … I will finally be free!
“Art is the universal language of man” There aren’t good or bad emotions, or emotions that are better than others and, together, make up our soul. Once we identify our emotions, we realize that we are not alone, that we can share them with others to create bonds.

The use of alive materials where to print, such as stone, marble and wood, makes a continuity in the execution of the research and keeps the duality physical- non physical in their conceptual uniqueness.

Art is the only human activity that has nothing to do with our biological existence so I think art must be the only thing we do that is truly us.
